Cameron/Gillies Recital

Invited recitalists in the Cameron/Gillies are:

  • Mr. Colin Lee Surrey, BC-last years winner
  • Mr. Jonathan Greenlees Lisburn, N. Ireland
  • Mr. Callum Beaumont B'oness, Scotland

Each recitalist will be allocated approximately 35 minutes to complete his recital, playing the selected tunes.  A break of 2 minutes will be allowed between events for water or wipe down. A break of 5 minutes will be allocated for any mechanical repairs.

The 6/8 March:

Recitalists will submit four tunes from the list of eight below. From this total of four the committee will select one to be played twice over.

Recitalists will submit two from each list A, B and C. In lists B and C the two *compulsory tunes MUST be submitted with one other tune. From these six Marches, Strathspeys and Reels, one in each discipline will be selected to play twice over.

Each recitalist will be allocated approximately 45 minutes to complete his recital. A break of 2 minutes will be allowed between events for water or wipe down. A 5 minute break will be allowed for mechanical repair.

Urlar:

Recitalists will submit three tunes from the set list of six one of which will be selected. Urlar ONLY to be played.
